We often miss sending out holiday cards, but this year we wanted to let our friends know just how much we appreciate their love and support. So we created this Valentine and seed packet mailer.

It was illustrated and designed in-house by Leslie. It features hand-drawn type and a two-color overprint. Ryan carefully letterpress printed the cards on 110lb. Strathmore Cover Bristol, which we paired with a brown kraft envelope. Inside, we included a packet of wildflower seeds printed and die-cut on 80lb. Maintaining an even impression on double-sided cards can be a challenge. To achieve the solid flood color on Stefania’s letterpress business cards, we printed both sides separately on fluorescent white 300gsm Crane’s Lettra and then glued them together in a process called “duplexing.” After a final trim, the result is a sturdy, seamless 600gsm business card with a deep impression on both sides.
